| Energy Security Union (ESU), an Austrian non-profit organisation, started off in 1991 with the motto:
"Atomic or Sunrays", to close the natural nutrient gap. The technical process of fermentation is the most effective way to close the natural circuit. It not only disposes environmentally friendly organic wastes from the agricultural sector, but generally all biogenic waste matters from industries and households. And on top of it, even energy producing, environmental and economical damages are converted into over all profits. Since 1991 ESU constructed eight biogasplants and thus produced approx. 20 billions m3 biogas. ESU was the first organisation in Austria, that introduced co-fermentation for agricultural biogasplants and as such fulfilled relevant waste disposal laws (AWG Abfallwirtschaftsgesetz). Today we are fond of the fact that Austria's University of Agriculture is presenting the results of ESU's fermentation project as trend setting at international seminars.The Non Profit Organisation and the inventors have now at hand the European patent for a new generation of biogas digesters. The pyramidal film construction Type "ATMA". It fulfils and tops all modern standards for secure biogas production, fits into nature and can easily be constructed all over the world. ESU staked its claim for area covering implementation of biogas production in Austria and world wide. ESU is interested in world wide KNOW HOW transfer, finances biogas plants with partners, plans and constructs the plants according local demands. For farmers are special contracts prepared, in combination with special contracts with the regional official electricity supplier. ESU's job consists of information and advice for farmers, politicians, investors, communities, educating energy advisors, setting up regional ESU information centres, coordinating all efforts from public relations up to turn key "ATMA" biogas plants construction. At the moment ESU is engaged in Middle America and Asia. To reach the goal of area covering acquisition of animal manure and metropolitan food/organic waste for economical processing in biogas plants
, it is part of ESU's biogas-, energy- and clean water concept to use energy plants
(grass, corn straw, leaves, mustard ..) in complementation as raw materials.
